:: [Overheard, as the students were lining up outside my door one morning]
M: I brought my Bible to school today! Do you know what a Bible is?
K: No.
M: It's got God's Word in it. See? Maybe Mrs. Park can read it to us at the end of the day!
:: Yesterday, when he came into the classroom, K. looked up at me with a huge grin and said, "Guess what? My mommy gots a baby in her tummy!"
"Wow!" I exclaimed. "Did you just find out?"
He nodded.
"When is the baby going to come out?" I asked, curious to see if our due dates are similar.
"Ummmm...ummmmm....in ten years!"
Uncomfortable! Poor K's mom! :-P
:: In belly news, my bump is growing! It's so funny how it seems to have grown so much just in the past week. It feels similar when you've had a big meal and you just let your stomach hang out (and put on your good-eatin' pants, or unbutton your jeans) and don't even bother to suck in your stomach... except I couldn't really suck in my belly if I tried :)
It's exciting, though, thinking about this little life swimming around in there. In two weeks, we'll finally be able to call Baby Park a he or she!
