BECKY (worried) : Mrs. Park, did the nurse say I have to get glasses?
MRS. PARK: No, she just said that you need to go to the eye doctor to have a check-up.
BECKY (still very concerned) : But I might have to get glasses??
MRS. PARK: Maybe. But that's ok - glasses are cute!
BECKY (excited) : I know!!!
(scampers off happily)
I wanted glasses when I was a kid, too! Now I am looking forward to lasik in a few years. =)
ReplyDeleteme too! actually, i wore my friend's fake red-rimmed plastic glasses in 2nd grade because i thought they were so cool. then i had to get real ones bc my eyesight deteriorated. :(
